What it costs

Shipping is calculated at checkout from live carrier rates for the carrier and speed you choose, so you see the exact cost before you pay.

We do not offer free shipping. If we are running a promotion that includes it, we will say so plainly at the time.

Choose your carrier and your speed

At checkout you decide who carries your box and how quickly it travels.

• Carriers: UPS, FedEx, or the United States Postal Service.
• Speeds: ground, priority, or overnight.

Processing time

Every box is packed by hand, and orders are packed within one to three business days of being placed.

Processing time and shipping time are two different things. Overnight shipping moves your box quickly once it leaves us, but it still waits its turn to be packed. If you need it out the door sooner, choose expedited processing at checkout. There is an additional fee for it, shown before you pay.

When it arrives

Once a package leaves our hands, delivery time belongs to the carrier and depends on the service you chose.

We watch the forecast: when the weather would not be kind to what is inside, we may hold an order a day or two and let you know.

Local pickup

If you are nearby, you can choose local pickup at checkout instead of shipping. There is no charge for it, and we will email you when your order is ready, along with where and when to collect it.

Please check the address

We cannot be responsible for an order sent to an address entered incorrectly, so it is worth a second look at checkout, especially when a box is going somewhere other than your own table. If a package comes back to us, we will get in touch before sending it out again.

If your order arrives damaged or incomplete, email hello@thegivingnut.com with your order number and a photo if you can, and we will make it right. See our returns policy.
